Bianca Antonia - Dance/Baile
Bianca Antonia has made a lifelong commitment to promoting the art of flamenco. Born and raised in Houston, Bianca has danced flamenco for more than half her life. She began her studies in Flamenco under Lucia Rodriguez Sanchez in 1992. In 1999 she appeared in Lucia y Valdemar's Gitanerias film "Grafico". In 2000 she formed her first cuadro group called "Pasion Gitana". She was also a member of the Austin based flamenco group Teye y Viva el Flamenco from 2002 to 2003. In 2004 she formed her current cuadro "Flamenco Andaluz". With Flamenco Andaluz she has performed at Jones Hall, Baylor University, Sam Houston State University, Texas A&M, University of Houston, Texas Attorney General and numerous other events across the state of Texas. She has studied under some influential artist of flamenco such as Jose Molina, Pablo Rodarte, Antonio Granjero, Susana Di Palma, Omayra Amaya, Timo Lozano, Jose Porcel and Maria Serrano.
